Before we can quote a price we need to know technical details, such as:
- the type of surface your label will be applied to.
- whether it will be exposed to sunlight, rain, solvents or other factors,
- the number of colours you require,
- extra features such as embossing, foil and type of finish,
- the size and shape.
We also need to know:
- how you intend to apply your labels (for example, by hand, from a roll, or using a dispenser),
- the quantity you require,
- and whether you need barcodes or sequential numbering.
After we receive your initial inquiry, one of our account managers will discuss the details with you, to ensure we understand exactly what you require.
At this stage, we can give you a price estimate. But we can’t confirm a final price until we see your finished label design, so we know exactly what is involved in terms of printing.
At Leading Label, we do some design work ourselves and can also refer you to a top graphic designer if necessary. Or you can use your own designer.
Once your design is completed, you (or your designer) need to send us the artwork, in the correct format. (See information for designers).
In most cases we can provide an initial proof copy of your labels within two to three days of receiving your artwork. You will then sign off this proof. If you need barcodes added, you will need to allow an extra day. Once the proof is signed off, we can normally print your labels and deliver them to your door within five to ten working days.
